Programs
FareStart programs are at the heart of our mission – transforming lives, disrupting poverty and nourishing communities through food, life skills and job training.
A synergistic approach
Our programs complement and feed each other, thereby ensuring long-term sustainability and impact. Students train on the job for new careers in the food industry as they prepare meals for the community. And we share our 30 years of job training expertise via our national consulting practice to improve outcomes at other job training nonprofits and opportunity employers around the country, as well as to improve our work back at home.
