We have over 30 years of history and expertise in preparing and delivering meals across the Greater Seattle area, producing 19 million meals for local nonprofits, shelters, respite centers, youth and adult daycare centers and schools.
We provide homemade, delicious breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks. Our seasonal menu changes daily with meals designed to bring comfort and sustenance. We use the freshest ingredients and house-made, local products, as available.
We offer different menus depending on your specific needs, including hot and cold meal offerings, vegetarian, allergen-free and soft foods. Whether you need family or congregate-style meals or individually packaged meals, we have you covered. We also have menus that meet all the requirements of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).
We do the hard work for you, creating delicious, prepared meals that are delivered to your door ready to eat or heat up to 365 days a year. We are 100% committed to quality, safety and customer satisfaction. You’ll work with our knowledgeable team to manage your meal needs, address questions or requests, and ensure everything goes smoothly.
When you partner with FareStart, you help transform lives by putting people to work. Our kitchens serve as classrooms, where students in our job training programs work alongside our professional chefs, gaining skills to prepare them for employment. Revenue from our meals program sustains this work, ensuring that we can continue to offer a path toward personal and financial stability for our students.

We prepared and delivered over 860,000 meals to mostly food insecure communities in 2023.
Last year, we prepared and delivered over 2,000 meals every day to social service programs and schools around the Puget Sound.
We work with over 70 partner organizations to help relieve food insecurity in our community.
