The cafés are home to our Barista & Customer Service Program, which teaches people ages 15 ½ - 24 valuable job and self-empowerment skills to help them on their path towards personal stability and financial independence. All food sold in our cafés is prepared in FareStart kitchens by professional chefs working side by side with students in our Food Pathways Program.

South Lake Union

The FareStart Café is located in the lobby of Amazon’s Houdini North building and is open to the public.

Beacon Hill

The FareStart Café is located in the lobby of the Pacific Tower building and is open to the public.

We offer a delicious assortment of salads, sandwiches and desserts, using the freshest ingredients and house-made, local products.

The prepared lunches in our cafés are also available to order as box lunches for your next corporate event or meeting. These can be pre-ordered and either delivered or picked up at one of our cafés.

FareStart Cafés serve as classrooms for our students and help support our mission. We run these social enterprise businesses to train people on the job for future careers in barista and customer service industries.
