Chef Lil Miller brings more than 30 years of diverse culinary knowledge to Tulalip Resort Casino where she guides the resort’s popular Eagles Buffet restaurant. As chef de cuisine, Miller raises the bar with her daily menu offerings and specials, showcasing fresh, local ingredients. Miller attended Spokane Community College studying Culinary Arts and finished her training at the Culinary Institute of America in 1985. While working in Los Angeles, Miller worked her way up from line cook to Chef de Cuisine under famed chef, Michael Roberts. During her tenure, Miller and her partner owned the Back Door Caterers catering company where they had the opportunity to cook for a number of Hollywood stars. In addition to serving the stars, they also made desserts for the Indigo Café in West Hollywood. In 1990, Miller moved back to Washington state and opened Passport Restaurant with her partner. Then, in 1992, they opened Pavè Bakery specializing in high-end rustic hearth baked goods.
