The Skillet chef team is dedicated to scratch-cooking and the best ingredients. These three chefs work as a team to create new menu items and keep the kitchens running smoothly. As a line cook, Rachel helped open Skillet's first brick and mortar in 2011 and is now the Chef de Cuisine of Skillet Street Food & Catering. Dave Sargent joined the team two years ago and has worked in all three restaurants on his way to Chef de Cuisine of Skillet Diner on Capitol Hill. Michael, a FareStart graduate, has been the Chef/General Manager for over five years of Skillet Counter. This chef team has worked hard to grow as chefs and create kitchen crews that can operate smoothly, even when there is a line out the door.
