Adopt-a-Shelter-Delivery Day

We rely on volunteer power to ensure that the delicious meals students make every day get to the 16 different sites that participate in our Community Meals Program. Your company commits to adopting one day out of the month to help pack and deliver meals for at least 6 months. This is our greatest volunteer need and one that allows a company to have a long-term impact on FareStart! No driving necessary.

Dates/Times: M-F, 3-6:30 p.m. Group Size: 2-3 volunteers.

Kitchen Prep

Help our chef instructors and students prepare shelter meals in the FareStart Community Meals kitchen. No experience required, but you will learn more than you thought possible about cutting and preparing food of all sorts! A great opportunity for hands-on volunteer work.

Dates/Times: Saturday, Sunday and Holidays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Group Size: Up to 10 people.
