FareStart Goes Golfing

Amazon has been holding an annual golf tournament for 17 years. This year they chose FareStart to be their nonprofit beneficiary and we were able to raise over $220,000 to support our mission!

The tournament had more than 250 participants and everyone enjoyed the day of golfing at Newcastle even with the June rain. Participants had a few options to enhance their golfing experience from purchasing extra mulligans to using a golf ball cannon. We also held a silent auction that included golf paraphernalia, trips and tickets to sporting events.

FareStart volunteers helped organize the logistics and with their tireless efforts the event went off without a hitch.
