Bio

Heong Soon Park opened Chan in Pike Place Market in 2012. It quickly garnered praise from critics and diners and remains one of the top places to dine downtown. A native of South Korea, Park was first exposed to the culinary world while working at his parents' restaurant in Alaska. In 2015, Park won a Sustainability Rising Star Award from StarChefs.
