Bio

Thanks to Caffe Vita for bringing two James Beard Award-winning Seattle chefs together for Guest Chef Night!

Chef and cookbook author John Sundstrom is known for his thoughtful use of foraged and wild ingredients. He opened Lark on Capitol Hill in 2003 and has since opened Bitter/Raw, Slab Sandwiches + Pie and Southpaw Pizza.

Scott Carsberg, always focused on simplicity, yet perfection, helped put the Seattle dining scene on the map in the early 1990s. This Seattle native honed his craft at fine dining restaurants on the East Coast, Germany and Italy before returning to open the award-winning Lampreia and Bisato.
