read more...Did you know that FareStart is more than a nonprofit organization? We’re a nonprofit social enterprise that’s focused on job training and employment. This means that we run social enterprise businesses to generate revenue for our mission and to train people with barriers to employment.
After two years of virtual-only galas, we were excited to welcome back our community to the Seattle Convention Center on Sunday, November 6. Online guests joined us in the live broadcast. Together we celebrated student transformations, new partnerships and the incredible strides made to increase food security in our communities
We had so much fun at the Annual Amazon Golf Tournament fundraiser! Despite the heat, over 250 golfers, volunteers and staff came out to The Golf Club at Newcastle to raise $215,000 in funds to transform lives and nourish communities. We shared golf tips, meals and stories about how FareStart is helping people change their own lives.
