Despite the heat, over 250 golfers, volunteers and staff came out to The Golf Club at Newcastle to raise $215,000 in funds to transform lives and nourish communities. Shortly after the pandemic hit in March 2020, FareStart quickly repurposed our former Maslow’s restaurant in South Lake Union to ramp up production of community meals, serving shelters, supportive housing programs, child care centers, schools and more.
