Demonstrated Employability Assets
Each FareStart graduate has completed our intensive 16 week training program. Each individual is prescreened for employability assets including:
Solid, Comprehensive Training
FareStart graduates, both back and front-of-house, are qualified at and above entry-level for the food service industry. Each graduate has been extensively trained for food handling, safety and sanitation and are comfortable in multiple food service situations.
FareStart back-of-house students have worked and trained alongside professional chefs producing up to 2500 nutritious, from-scratch bulk meals each day in the FareStart kitchen. They have also worked the line, producing thousands of meals to order for the FareStart Restaurant, FareStart Cafes, FareStart Catering and up to 250 three course gourmet meals each week at FareStart's Guest Chef Night event.
