Lunch at the FareStart Restaurant

Lunch is served at the FareStart Restaurant (7th & Virginia) from 11am-2pm, Monday through Friday.  Our menu changes every few months, but always features a variety of delicious entrees, sandwiches, salads, and American favorites.  We have various vegetarian dishes available and a kid’s menu for your little ones. 

Each week our kitchen produces outstanding specials!  Come in and enjoy!

Specials for the week of May 12, 2008:

  • Soup: Tomato Basil Cream
  • Salad: Greek Salad, Tomato, Olives, Feta,Cucumber, Peppers, Red Onion, Wine-Oregano Vinaigrette
  • Sandwich: Grilled Ham & Brie, Apple & Onion Chutney, Potato Bread, Choice of Fries, Caesar or Soup
  • Entrée: Seared Sea Scallops, Sweet Pea Risotto, Pea Vines, Butter Cream Sauce
  • Dessert: Grand Marnier Strawberries, Lemon-Basil Sorbet

As one of FareStart’s businesses, revenue from lunch service goes back into the program, helping to fund the important services and training we offer our students.

Lunch also serves as an excellent training opportunity for our students, to experience a working retail kitchen and to gain the job skills that are required for such an environment. 

* Parties of eight or more are required to pay for the bill with one form of payment and will have 18% gratuity added to the bill.
