Guest Chef Night Program -- "Seattle's Best Food Lovers Event!"
Every Thursday night, a different Guest Chef works with our students to prepare a three-course meal at the FareStart Restaurant. A very special part of the evening is our student graduation. FareStart’s culinary training is based on a rolling 16-week schedule and at 7 p.m. each Thursday we introduce our weekly graduates and celebrate their accomplishments.
Up Next: Chef de Cuisine of URBANE, Audrey Spence!
Thursday, February 5
Audrey was raised in Seattle and, after graduating from the Culinary
Institute of America, she returned to the city to launch
her career within the Tom Douglas family of restaurants. Starting as a pantry
cook at Etta’s in 2001, she worked her way up through 11 Tom Douglas restaurants to become the executive chef at Serious Pie in 2011. Now, as the creative force
behind Urbane’s menu, Audrey continues to hone her love of Northwest ingredients
and affection for Mediterranean flavors. Outside of her Seattle kitchens, she
can be found gallivanting to places near and far to soak up the sun.
