It is important that the donor provide FareStart with information about the gift for audit and acknowledgment purposes.
Please communicate this information: Donor's full name and complete address, name and number of securities transferred, date of the transfer, specific designation (if any).
Matching Gift Information
Many employers match donations to charitable organizations made by their employees, retirees and family members. Employer matching gifts can double or even triple your donation to FareStart. To initiate a matching gift, check with the personnel or human resources department at your and/or your partner’s place of employment.

Honor and Memorial Gifts
When you make a gift in honor of or in memory of a loved one, we will send the honoree or the family of the memorialized person a special card (see below) notifying them of your gift. Please fill out the Tribute Information section on our Online Donation form. Thank you.

The items below help students as they work hard during the program and begin a new job. New, unopened items on the list can be dropped off at the FareStart Administrative entrance at 700 Virginia St., Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm. If you have any questions about your donation, or to arrange a pick-up, please contact FareStart at 206-443-1233. Please label the packages before dropping off. If you would like a receipt that acknowledges your donation and contains tax-deductibility information, please fill out this form and attach it to your donation or send to FareStart at your earliest convenience.
